Capita in Germany, Switzerland and Poland
In 2011 Capita, Great Britain’s leading outsourcing-specialist, opened its first location on the European continent in Krakow. Here, in the heart of the city, which is deemed one of the most beautiful cities in Polands, Capita initiated demanding nearshore projects. In 2014 Capita took over the company SouthWestern Business Process Services in Łódź and thereby expanded its capacities in Poland to more than 650 employees.
Parallel to the development in Poland, in 2015 Capita acquired avocis, a market leader know for excellent customer management in German-speaking Europe, with 12 locations and more than 6,500 employees at that time.
In July 2015, all of these companies were unified as the independent Europe Division under the single brand Capita. To that point Capita had been primarily active on the British market; since then Capita has been a presence in Germany, Poland and Switzerland with around 7,650 employees and offers customised Customer-Management and BPO-solutions from a single source nationwide in each country.
Capita, with its London-based headquarters, is one of Europe's largest outsourcing companies in the areas of customer relationship management, business process outsourcing, software, and consulting. Since its founding in 1984, Capita has become one of the most successful outsourcing specialists in the UK market through its organic growth and targeted acquisitions. As a company with around 63,000 employees and an annual turnover of about £ 4.9 Billion, today Capita not only stands for excellence in outsourcing at the highest level, but also for financial strength and stability.
